When the shops closed, we got to have a real metro experience riding the Gautrain (you have to pronounce the Gau very gutturally.) The train, which is sometimes a subway, sometimes ground level, and at times elevated, is modern and beautiful.
The purpose of this blog is to track the progress of our trip preparations and update our supporters on fund-raising efforts, challenges that our team is facing, prayer requests and ways in which we see God moving as He prepares to send us out to do His work.

Sunday at the Market
After church yesterday Neville Walker dropped us off at the Rosebank mall, which is an upscale mall with an African craft market attached to it. On Sundays, there's a large market on the roof of the mall as well, and there are street performers, and lots of neat places to catch a bite to eat. We had lunch and spent the afternoon shopping for trinkets and souveniers.
