Pipe Cleaner Flowers

Today my Grade 5 students made monocot and dicot flowers out of pipe cleaners. They were so fascinated by the pipe cleaners, and amazed to see what they could create. Every last one of them was thrilled to take their flowers home to their parents (or whomever they live with on the weekends.)
